Stephanie Swantner

Stephanie joined the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit as a Trial Court Staff Attorney in 2023. Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy with a minor in Anthropology from the University of Florida, cum laude. Stephanie earned her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law, cum laude as a scholarship recipient.

While in law school, Stephanie was the Lead Technical Editor of the ILSA Journal of International & Comparative Law. When she was a junior staff editor, the Journal selected Stephanie’s article for publication, A Comparative Analysis of Health Regulation on Food Labeling in the United States, France, and Mexico, 27 ILSA J. Int’l & Comp. L. 381 (2021). Stephanie received the CALI Book Award in Florida Constitutional Law. She was also a legal intern for her school’s Consumer Bankruptcy Field Placement Clinic.

Stephanie has previous experience as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable David A. Haimes of the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit and the Honorable Sherri Collins of the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit. Stephanie dedicated many years serving as a Guardian ad Litem with the Fifteenth and Eighth Judicial Circuits.
